The first gen Lexus RX is aging well, and there is no better combo than black with GOOOoOoOOOLD badges!

Well it’s aging better than the new one will. However I think the gold badging clashes with the weird tint.

That tint — which seems exclusive to old RXes — has always been bizarre and midly offputting

I’m partial to the 2-tone ones.

I so miss two tone vehicles in general

our neighbor’s folks have a first gen burgundy one with the gold package, which might just be better than black...

Toyota’s bringin it back!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen another vehicle with that tint from factory.

More acceleration than it deserves and very thirsty. The frame sits about flat with the hub on the front so ride heights not as good as it looks. The headlights are also expensive.

That tint is awesome and was popular in the mid-to-late 90s

Gold badges are awesome! Too bad they don’t use them anymore :(

I kid of like the weird tint seen on most of these, cooler as a Toyota Harrier, just for the name:
Living in Bellevue, I can’t say these are a vehicle I like being stuck behind, or beside, or encountering while on foot.

Always thought that was an ugly car, time hasn’t changed that at all.

Friends of ours bought a new C-HR - I don’t hate the look..

The color is good, the look is...personal. The car is a big ball of meh.

Always looked a little smooshed to me..
